Handling over 12 million passengers every year, Hamburg Airport is one of Germany’s principal airports. It serves a network of 122 domestic and international destinations, including New York and Dubai. The HAM 21 extension project, which includes the new Airport Plaza taking shape between the two terminals, will transform the airport into one of the most modern in Europe. Hamburg Airport is a customer-focused service company with a workforce of around 1,600; a total of around 14,000 people are employed within the airport as a whole.
