The Polizeiverein Hamburg e.V. is a non-profit-making association promoting dialogue between citizens and the police. In line with its conviction that “knowledge is the key to understanding”, the objective of the police association is to bolster the basis of trust in the police. To uphold internal security, the association supports initiatives in the fields of science and research, education and training, art, culture, sport and international understanding as well as charitable schemes for disadvantaged police dependents.
